The calm waters of the sea of Cortez, year-round good visibility and the incredible variety of game fish are just some of the qualities that make La Paz one of the best spearfishing destinations in the world for both beginners and expert spearos alike.
We are very lucky to have several diving spots for all skill levels within a short boat ride from Marina Costa Baja. We typically visit either Espiritu Santo or Cerralvo Island to hunt for Pargo, Grouper, Amberjack, Yellowtail among other species of reef game fish. Or we head to one of the many seamounts for blue water hunting Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Marlin.
Depending on the season, the conditions your skill level and the species you want to target, we’ll tailor a plan for you and your group that will assure great success.
All of our spearfishing trips are guided by experienced captains who will accommodate all of the specific needs of a spearfisherman, as well as an expert guide in the water with you and your group that will teach you all the tips and tricks particular to the area.
